MY DREAM

Every child has a dream, whether it’s becoming a nurse, a chartered accountant, a lawyer, a designer, or something more. Too often, these aspirations are cut short by financial hardship. While many families manage to support their children through the early years of schooling, continuing beyond that can become impossible. As a result, some children drop out as early as primary school.

Sandra, currently in Basic 6, dreams of a future in the Armed Forces. However, she fears her education may end after junior high school. Although her parents are alive, her schooling is not a priority for them. Instead, her uncle, despite having very limited means, has taken on the responsibility of supporting her basic education. This has placed a significant strain on his finances, and even now, Sandra struggles to stay in school.

This is where we step in. The students we support attend public schools and do not pay tuition, but many still lack essential resources. We provide school uniforms and other basic learning materials to children whose parents or guardians are unable to afford them, helping ensure they can stay in school and continue pursuing their dreams.

Most of our tertiary students would have ended their education at the high school level
due to lack of funds from their parents and guardians.
