Smile for Child, Ghana is a non-profit organisation founded in 2004 by Dorcas Naana Nusi, a professional Ghanaian journalist and a marketing executive.

The organisation was created to empower women of all ages by providing them with opportunities and requisite skills now, so they can chase their dreams and achieve economic freedom later.

The Team

We are a small team, with members from diverse backgrounds.

Patience is an educationist and a facilitator; Deborah is a software engineer and handles our communications; David is a mechanical engineer, a graphics designer and a facilitator; Dora, our resource person, is an entrepreneur; Naana Nusi coordinates all our programmes.

One thing knit us together: improving lives.

Since inception, we have been fortunate to have successfully completed a number of projects including feeding and sensitization programmes, clothing drives, educational scholarships and mentoring programmes.
